Pilates & Somatic Movement

​Pilates is a wonderful modality to lengthen and strengthen muscles. It brings balance between muscle groups in order to facilitate proper posture and movement sequencing.

I often combine a Pilates workout with myofascial release work to aid joint mobility and improve correct alignment of the bones. 

Somatic Movement is all about how we embody our physique and the sensing experience of this process. 

This in itself is so valuable as it creates a memory in the tissues; stimulating the body's innate intelligence.

The way I look and work with your body therefore becomes a unique experience for you, my cue-ing stimulating your awareness and helping you to fully embody the richness that lies embedded in the mystery of your own cellular tissues.
